When losing a lot of weight, getting creative with different meal ideas is key to our long term success. This is one of my favorites. It’s a delicious burst of fruits and vegetables in one tasty weight loss meal replacement. Chunks of pineapple, mango and baby carrots steal the show in this recipe. This is a great addition to your weight loss smoothie choices. Because it provides plenty of nutrition and is low in calories and fat grams. (makes 2 large smoothies)
1/2 cup baby carrots
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1 TB honey
1 TB Chia or Flax Seed
1 cup plain Greek Yogurt.
favorite optional add-in: 1-2 drops orange essential oil.
- Add orange juice to the blender.
- Add in remaining ingredients and blend for 15-20 seconds, or until smooth.
- Serve cold.
