SNACK IDEAS WHEN DIETING: One of the hardest things when losing weight can be coming up with good snack ideas. Here is a list to help you on your journey to eating healthier. When I am losing weight I eat at least 3-4 snacks a day in between my meals. This list gives you different options to decide on how to stay within your body budget numbers and still enjoy good snacks.

 

SNACKS UNDER 100 CALORIES: 

  • 1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese
  • Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup Oatmeal
  • 1 Cup Cheerios
  • Small Latte with Skim Milk
  • A Frozen Yogurt Bar
  • 2 Flavored Rice Cakes
  • 1 Medium Grapefruit
  • 3 Cups of Popcorn
  • 1 tablespoon of Peanut Butter
  • 1 small Banana
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 Cups Diced Watermelon
  • 1 Cup of Blueberries
  • 1/2 an Avocado
  • 28 Grapes
  • 20 Roasted Peanuts
  • 4 Medium Carrots
  • 4 Slices of Turkey Breast
  • 3 small Clementine
  • 1 Sweet Potato
  • 1/2 cup of Edamame
  • 1/2 of Medium Cantaloupe

  • 1 Apple+1 Slice reduced fat provolone cheese+0.4 oz. dark chocolate=196 calories
  • 12 Almonds+7 small strawberries+1 cup dark chocolate almond milk=199 calories
  • 1/2 Whole Wheat Bagel+1 tbsp. low fat cream cheese+1/2 tbsp. apricot preserves=179 calories
  • 5 Melba Toast Crackers+1 Sliced Tomato+1/4 Cup Fresh Basil leaves+0.5 oz. Gouda Cheese=164 Calories
  • 1 Granola Bar
  • 1 Small Pita Pocket, 4″ diameter + 1 tbsp. Cashew Butter + 1/4 Cup Blackberries=199 calories
  • 27 Cheez-it crackers
  • 2 Celery Stalks+ 1tbsp. Natural Peanut Butter+ 2 tbsp. Raisins=166 calories
  • 28 Rold Gold tiny twists Pretzels
  • 1 Cup Grapefruit Juice+ 10 Pistachios+1 Cup Cubed Cantaloupe=188 calories
